Fabrication Crew Member
Starting Pay: $16/hour
The primary functions of this position are to set-up and operate various machines to fabricate parts / materials to specifications, inspect pack and wrap finished product in a timely manner, observing all safety regulations, ensuring all quality standards are met and safe, courteous and professional behavior is observed in all situations.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Obtain tags, work order and program the machine to the proper cut, check re-bar, order new material and load machine as needed.
- rebar, bundle, wrap and remove finished bundles with overhead crane and place on wood strips or wooden pallets.
- Move finished product to the finish table, or to the manual bending area for bending if needed.
- Call maintenance for assistance with machine operation issues.
- Remove carts, pallets, trash, cardboard, packing material and strapping and place in proper area or receptacles.
- Keep work area and storage areas clear, clean and organized.
- Complete other related duties as assigned or directed by the Supervisor.
- Perform general housekeeping and clean-up as required.
- Operate and safety check forklift.
Additional Requirements:
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- Must have a valid state ID
